Azerbaijan University of Languages (ADU) event about Greece and Azerbaijan (November 5, 2015)

The Azerbaijan University of Languages organized an event about Greece- Azerbaijan relationship titled “Azerbaijan-The Hellenic Republic: History and Modernity” on November 5, 2015, attended by the vice Rector and the heads of departments of the University. The Consul of the Embassy of Greece, Mr. K. Adamopoulos, and Ms M. Dolka, Attaché, also attended the event. The students of the University, in cooperation with Erasmus exchange students from Greece, presented, in a brief but comprehensive way, the history of Greece as the basis of the Western Civilization, as well as the  relationship of the two states in political, economic and energy sectors. The students from Greece described their impressions of the educational system, the country and the people of Azerbaijan, underlining the similar values of the two nations, such as hospitality and warm behaviour.   Both Greek and Azerbaijani students performed a traditional Greek dance and music show.
