Celebration of the National holiday of Greece in the Modern Greek Language and Culture Centre of Slavic University (29.10.2015)

The students of the Modern Greek Language and Culture Centre of Slavic University organized an event honouring the Greek National holiday of the October 28th. The event took place in the university campus, on October 29, 2015 and was attended by the Students, the Rector and the Dean of the University, as well as the Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. D. Tsoungas, and the Consul, Mr. K. Adamopoulos. During the event, the students presented the historic dialogue between I. Metaxas (Greek prime Minister in 1940) and the Italian Ambassador. The show was concluded by the performance of a famous song written in 1940 about the soldiers defending their country.
