Eurovillage 2016 in Ganja, June 11

The Embassy of Greece together with the Greek Community “Argo” participated in Eurovillage 2016 in Ganja, on Saturday, the 11th of June, organized by the Delegation of the European Union and the member states’ Embassies, to mark 25 years of E.U.- Azerbaijan cooperation.

The Greek stand promoted the touristic product, gastronomy, as well as ancient history of Greece, with pamphlets, traditional food, video spots and ancient style dresses to take photos with.

The whole day event was concluded with a concert, in Heydar Aliyev Park’s Amphitheatre, which started with soprano Ulker Aliyeva, singing azeri songs, as well as “Piraeus’s Children” in greek.
