Opening of “Semaines de la Francophonie” with concert of Greek, Azerbaijani and French music

The Embassies of Greece and France, in cooperation with the International Eurasia Press Fund co-organised a concert of Greek, Azerbaijani and French music, on Saturday the 1st of April 2017, at International Mugam Center of Baku, within the framework of “Semaines de la Francophonie”.

Eleni and Suzanna Vougioukli in their second performance in Azerbaijan, along with Gochag Askarov and Pierre de Tregomain managed to unite artistically the Greek music and the Azerbaijani Mugam, by presenting a series of Greek traditional and contemporary songs. The event had a great success among the Azerbaijani and international audience in Baku.
