Poetry Evening by the Azerbaijan Literature Association (14.11.2015)

 Azerbaijan Literature Association in coordination with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan organized a Poetry Evening. Recitation of Azerbaijani Poems was performed by famous azeri actors. The Embassies of Turkey, Argentina, United Kingdom, Spain, Morocco, Russia and Greece participated, presenting a poem from their cultural heritage. The Ambassador of Greece, Mr. D. Tsoungas, recited the Poem “Ithaka” by C. P. Cavafi. The Poetry Evening included traditional Mugam music intermissions.
