Political consultations between the Greek Deputy Foreign Minister, Alexandra Papadopoulou and her counterpart in Azerbaijan, Deputy Foreign Minister, Fariz Rzayev (Baku,13.03.2024)

Political consultations between the Greek Deputy Foreign Minister, Alexandra Papadopoulou and her counterpart in Azerbaijan, Deputy Foreign Minister, Fariz Rzayev, took place in Baku on March 13th.

The two sides acknowledged the importance to have regular contacts in order to exchange views of issues of common interest. Building on their significant energy cooperation, both parties expressed their interest in exploring new areas of cooperation namely in the field of construction, transportation and agriculture. Regional and international topics were discussed, including Caucasus, Ukraine, Middle East and Eastern Mediterranean.

The Deputy Foreign Minister also participated at the opening ceremony of the Global Baku Forum.
