Dimitris Kotronakis, a classical guitarist and musicologist born in Heraklion, Creta (Greece), will take part in this year’s GuitarUnited - Guitar Fest Sarajevo East.

Kotronakis has recorded seven albums of solo and concerto repertoire, most for EMI Classics and Clear Note Records, receiving many rave notices from the critics, especially for his best selling CD, Echomythia. His last CD titled Toryanse, has been released in the USA on April 2016, by Soundset Records; it contains pieces of the modern guitar repertory.

Dimitris teaches guitar in three music institutions in Athens, the Music School of Alimos, the International Athens Conservatory, and the Panarmonio Conservatory.
