Two-day event for the promotion of the Greek language and culture

On October 18-19, 2023, the Embassy of Greece, in cooperation with the Department of Classical Philology of the University of Zadar, organized a two-day event for the promotion of the Greek language and culture. The event included the screening of the film “Kazantzakis” (directed by Iannis Smaragdis), followed by a cocktail reception, a donation of a number of books on Greek culture and history, offered by the General Secretariat for the Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy, and a lecture on the roots of the Greek language, starting from Linear A and B, by Professor Helena Tomas.
