"Week of Europe"
The Embassy participated in the exhibition entitled "Odysseus sails again", held in Zagreb on the occasion of the celebration of "European Week" (first week of May 2014).
Members of EU embassies and students of Zagreb Faculty of Philosophy read in 20 languages passages from Odyssey, while there were presented translations of Odyssey in many European languages.
The exhibition was organized by the European Commission’s Representation in Croatia. Zagreb was the first European capital where this exhibition took place. Subsequently similar exhibitions were held in Paris, Ljubljana, Rome, Budapest, Vienna, Bucharest, Tallin and Athens.
The Ambassador in her short address set out the priorities and achievements of the Greek Presidency and underlined the symbolism of Odysseus' return journey to Ithaca.
