Participation in the Festival of the Francophonie
The Embassy of Greece in Estonia takes actively part in the Festival of the Francophonie, as Greece is a member of the International Organization of Francophonie.
The Ambassador Mr. Constantine Catsambis attended the opening ceremony of the Festival that took place at the Adamson-Eric museum, where the painting exhibition
Cities of light, Estonian painters and European megalopolis” was presented. The exhibition focused on Paris as a major source of inspiration for Estonian painters.
Moreover, the Embassy participated to the «Fête de la Francophonie», at Tallinn 32nd High School (Tallinna 32. Keskkool), an open fair which constituted the highlight
of the celebrations. The Greek stand presented a game with words hidden in grid inspired from the Greek Mythology. In his speech, Ambassador Catsambis pointed out the values of the Francophonie and its importance, especially for the youth. The participants in the activities had the chance to win many gifts, among which two books about the Greek Mythology.
