Minister of Foreign Affairs Giorgos Katrougalos to participate in the Ministerial Meeting of the Council of Europe (Helsinki, 16-17 May 2019)

Minister of Foreign Affairs Giorgos Katrougalos will travel to Helsinki on Thursday 16 May to participate in the proceedings of the 129th Session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe (16-17 May 2019), which coincides with the 70th anniversary of the Council.

Discussions will focus on reviewing ways to reform and reinforce the Council of Europe in addressing modern challenges and crises, as well as in combating inequalities and defending social rights in the European continent.

On the sidelines of the Council, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will meet with some of his counterparts.
