3rd Meeting of the Greek-Georgian Joint Interministerial Committee (Athens, 29 May 2017)
The 3rd Meeting of the Greek-Georgian Joint Interministerial Committee (JIC) culminated in the signing of a Protocol.
Alternate Foreign Minister G. Katrougalos, who headed the Greek delegation, stressed the ties of friendship linking the two countries and called the signing of the Protocol a springboard for Greek-Georgian economic relations. He also highlighted Greece's firm position in support of Georgia's European perspective.
During the talks, agreement was reached on further cooperation in the sectors of trade, energy, tourism, agriculture and transport.
A Greek business mission will visit Tbilisi in early June.
