EU funded Twinning Project “Enhancing Accounting and Audit Quality in Georgia”

The official inauguration ceremony for the EU funded Twinning Project “Enhancing Accounting and Audit Quality in Georgia” was held today in Marriot Hotel in Tbilisi.

This program is implemented by the “Centre of International and European Economic Law” in cooperation with the “Hellenic Accounting and Auditing Standards Oversight Board”. The beneficiary entity of this program is the Service for Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision (SARAS) of the Georgian Ministry of Finance.

Opening speeches were made by the Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia, Mr. Nikoloz Gagua, the Head of Cooperation of the EU Delegation of the European Union to Georgia, Mr. Vincent Ray, the Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic in Georgia, Mr. Dimitrios Karabalis and the Head of General Directorate for European Integration at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia
