Foreign Minister Kotzias meets with the Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Kvirikashvili

Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias met today in New York City, on the margins of the UN General Assembly, with the Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Kvirikashvili.

During the meeting, Messrs. Kotzias and Kvirikashvili discussed bilateral cooperation issues and looked at matters of international and regional interest, including the refugee and migration crisis and the resurgence of tension in the South Caucasus region. Particular emphasis was put on matters concerning Georgia’s cooperation with the European Union.
