Foreign Ministry announcement on the elimination of Schengen visa requirement for Georgian citizens

"We welcome the successful completion today of the process for the elimination of the visa requirement for Georgian citizens for short stays in the Schengen area.

Throughout recent years, Greece has supported in practice Georgia's request and efforts, in the conviction that today's decision will contribute to the further strengthening of EU-Georgian relations and to an increase in the number of Georgian tourists visiting Europe."
