Inauguration of the International Conference “ Medea in the Global Artistic Culture”- Institute of Classical, Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies of the State University of Tbilisi ( 17-20 September 2017)

On the occasion of the anniversary of 20 years from its foundation, the Institute of Classical, Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies of the State University of Tbilisi  organized an International Conference with the subject ‘’Medea in the Global Artistic Culture”. The official opening of the Conference was addressed by the Rector of the University, a representative of the Georgian Ministry of Education, the Ambassador of Greece in Georgia Dimitrios Karabalis, the author Dimitris Nollas and the Professor Emeritus Konstantinos Dimadis. In the framework of the Conference an exhibition presenting photos and  artistic creations of Georgian artists about Medea and a book exhibition presenting the publications of the Institute from his foundation until today are open to the participants and to the students.
