Ambassador of Greece in India Mr Dimitrios Ioannou presented his credentials to the President of India Smt Droupadi Murmu (15.2.2023)

The 15th of February 2023 was an important day as Ambassador of Greece in India Mr Dimitrios Ioannou presented his credentials to the President of India Smt Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan (Office and Residence of the President of India).

President  Murmu and Ambassador Ioannou had a very warm exchange on the multi-millennial ties between Greece and India and on how the two civilisations learned from each other in the course of history, on the love of the Greek people for India, and on the Indian polymath Chanakya who had identified Greece and India as natural allies since ancient times and on the opportunities of strengthening bilateral ties in the fields of culture, education, digital technology, trade etc.
