Ambassador of Greece in India Mrs Aliki Koutsomitopoulou presented her credentials to the President of India Smt Droupadi Murmu (5.1.2024)

The 5th of January was an important day as Ambassador of Greece in India Mrs Aliki Koutsomitopoulou presented her credentials to the President of India Smt Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan (Office and Residence of the President of India).

President  Murmu and Ambassador Koutsomitopoulou had a very warm exchange on the multi-millennial ties between Greece and India as well as on the rapid expansion of the Indo-Greek ties following their recent upgrade to a Strategic Partnership.  The discussion focused on opportunities of strengthening bilateral ties in the fields of connectivity, shipping, defence, infrastructure, agriculture, mobility, culture, female empowerment, education, digital technology, trade & tourism etc.
