Condolences of the Foreign Ministry of Greece for the tragic loss of the Chief of Defence Staff of India (8.12.2021)

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece expressed its deep sorrow for the tragic loss of the Chief of Defence Staff of India, General Bipin Rawat, his wife and 11 other Military Personnel in a helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece expressed its heart-felt condolences to the families and friends of the victims and stressed that at this time of sorrow, Greece stands with the Government and the People of India. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, H.E. Mr Nikos Dendias, also sent a Letter of Condolences to his Indian counterpart, H.E. Dr S. Jaishankar.
