Ιnauguration of a Painting Exhibition under the auspices of the Embassy of Greece in New Delhi as a part of the celebrations dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Greek Revolution,New Delhi,21.10.2021
On Sunday 21st October H.E. Mr Dionyssios Kyvetos, Ambassador of Greece in India inaugurated a Painting Exhibition as a part of the program of the Embassy for the celebrations dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution. The Exhibition, which will be open to the public from the 21st till the 27th November 2021, is organised by the Hellenic Indian Society for Culture & Development (ELINEPA), in collaboration with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), with the support of Committee "Greece 2021" . It will be hosted for one week at the majestic Bikaner House in New Delhi.
The exhibition features works of four contemporary Greek artists - Klairi Tsalouchidi Chatzimina, Froso Vyzovitou, Lazaros Pantos and Pavlos Samios- inspired by the Greek Revolution of 1821.
The Embassy conveys special thanks to the Director of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Shri Dinesh Kumar Patnaik , for his support and to the former Honorary Consul of India in Thessaloniki for 20 years, Mrs Yvonni Alexandridou, for curating this wonderful exhibition.
