1st Hellenic - Indonesian Business Forum (15.11.2016)

The Embassy of Greece in cooperation with EBEA (Athens Chamber of Commerce), SEV (Hellenic Federation of Enterprises) and KADIN organized the 1st Hellenic -Indonesian Business Forum in Jakarta. The event attracted more than 50 Greek and Indonesian companies from the sectors of pharmaceuticals, food, construction materials, telecommunications and textiles.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Terence Quick inaugurated the event stressing the importance of friendly relations as a solid stepping stone for the further development of economic and trade relations between the two countries, underlining the significant prospects of cooperation between Greek and Indonesian businesses in the aforementioned sectors of the economy.

Opening statements were also delivered by the Ambassador of Greece to Indonesia Mr. George Dogoritis as well as the representatives of EBEA, SEV and KADIN. In addition, the participants witnessed the signing of the MoU on Business Cooperation between EBEA and KADIN, by Mr Dimitris Dimitriou member of the Executive Board of EBEA and Mrs Shinta Kamdani Vice-Chairman of KADIN.
