Official visit of the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr. Terence Quick to Indonesia (14-17.11.2016)

Deputy Foreign Minister Mr. Terence Quick, followed by a delegation of 13 businessmen and representatives of EBEA (Athens Chamber of Commerce) and SEV (Hellenic Federation of Entreprises), made an official visit to Jakarta (13-17.11.2016) in order to promote bilateral trade and economic relations.

During his stay in Jakarta Mr. Quick met with H.E Minister for Foreign Affairs Mrs Retno Marsudi, H.E Minister of Transport Mr. Budi Karya Sunadi, H.E Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Mrs Susi Padjiastuti, H.E Minister of Industry Mr. Airlangga Hartanto, H.E Minister of Public Works and Housing Mr. Basuki Hadimuljono, the President of BKPM Mr. Thomas Lembong, H.E Deputy Coordinating Minister of Economy Mr. Rizal Affandi, members of Parliamentary Committee I as well as the Director General of the Ministry for Trade Mrs Airlinda and the Director General of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs for American and European Affairs H.E Ambassador Mohammed Anshor.

During his meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Quick handed to Mrs Marsudi an official invitation from H.E Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr. Nikos Kotzias to visit Greece.

The Deputy Minister, also, opened the 1st Hellenic- Indonesian business forum and witnessed the signing of the MoU between EBEA and KADIN.
