Appointment Emails from both Individuals and travel agencies or groups will receive a reply within two working days.

The Embassy of Greece reminds that all submissions of visa applications or receptions of visa through VFS Global has to be done on an individual basis by the applicant, and it is formally forbidden to be done through any mediator, representative, relatives or tourist agent. The only exception is for parents for their children under the legal age and only for the reception of visa. Any child under the legal age has to be present, with her/his parents, for the submission of the application.

For visa purposes, individuals, agents, lawyers, representatives or companies, will no longer be admitted to the Consular Office of the Embassy from Monday 12 February. Emails, fax or telephone calls for such requests should be addressed only to VFS Global.

Within this framework, and based on the qualitative experience of VFS Global, the Consular Section of the Embassy will be able, in the coming weeks, to manage at least 100 visas per day, approximately doubling today’s capacity. Also, through VFS, the timeframe for booking an appointment, submitting the necessary documents and receiving a reply regarding applications will be reduced.

Furthermore, the Embassy of Greece reminds that the individuals interested in the GOLDEN VISA PROGRAMME (Residence Permits for investment activity in Greece) may also contact directly ENTREPRISE GREECE of the Ministry of Economy and Development.
