Public invitation to express interest / submit tenders for regular service and maintenance on a yearly basis of four (4) Perkins generators at the Embassy of Greece in Baghdad

The Embassy of Greece in Baghdad intends to proceed with a project assignment for regular service and maintenance of four (4) PERKINS generators (165 kVA, 135 kVA and two 100kVA each) for the duration of the current year (2022), after collecting and evaluating relevant tenders by using as a criterion of awarding the most economically advantageous offer based on price and overall services included.

1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION & SPECIFICATIONS

The term maintenance includes all the necessary work of maintaining, programming, adjusting and repairing all 4 generators so that they can all be operated in an optimal way and the Embassy can be supplied with sufficient electric power on a 24-hours per day, 7-days per week basis for the whole duration of the current year.

Maintenance includes, among other things, regular cleaning and maintenance of the generators, regular change of their filters (air, oil & fuel), programming and adjustment of all their mechanical and electronic parts, as well as checking the electricity supply systems of the Embassy and their connections with the generators.

The Embassy is responsible for the supply of the necessary parts and other consumables as well as, in case there is a need to solve problems that require specialized work and knowledge in addition to the above, for covering the additional costs and the selection of suitable contractors.

The submitted tender should include the total net cost of the maintenance work required for the candidate contractor to fulfil the project as described above. Taxes, deductions in favour of third parties, any other legal charge or other expense not expressly defined herein, are borne by the contractor and should be included in his bid.

2. TERMS OF PARTICIPATION

Companies eligible to participate are ones specialising and with good experience in the field of maintenance of generators, able to provide guarantees of safety and consistency, established and operating legally in accordance with applicable domestic law. Interested parties may not submit a partial tender for carrying out only certain parts of the described project. Such offers will be rejected as unacceptable.

3. MANNER & DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF TENDERS

Those interested can submit their offer at the email address of the Embassy, , until Wednesday the 23d of March 2022, 18:00 hrs.

Offers that are submitted after this deadline will be considered overdue and, therefore, not taken into account.
