Alternate Health Minister Ms Mina Gaga visits Israel

Alternate Health Minister Ms Mina Gaga and Deputy Health Minister for Mental Health, Ms Zoi Rapti participated in the 72nd session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe, which was held in Tel Aviv (12-14 September).

The Session was attended by more than 750 participants, including 30 Health Ministers. The Greek Premier addressed the event through a televised message. Let it be noted that the Greek Alternate Health Minister was elected Member of the Standing Committee of the Regional Committee of WHO Europe.

Ms Gaga met with the Director General of Israel’s Ministry of Health, Professor Nachman Ash and she also visited the internationally acclaimed and largest in size hospital in Israel, the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center – Ichilov, where she was briefed by the Hospital’s CEO, on the latest technological innovations the hospital applies.
