Ambassador Lampridis visits the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology) in Haifa (21.1.15)

Ambassador Lampridis visited the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology) in Haifa, where he had the opportunity to be briefed by Professors Benny Natan, Samuel Hassid and Khaled Gommed about the Institution's contribution to research and development in the fields of rocket and missile propulsion, as well as solar energy use. During his visit, he met with the President of Technion, Professor Peretz Lavie, who gave an analytical overview of the structure and aspirations of the esteemed Institution he is leading, including future plans and partnerships outside of Israel. In this context, the possibility of synergies between the Technion and greek academic institutions was also discussed.
