Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General C. Lalousis visits Israel

The Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General C. Lalousis visited Israel on August 2-4, following an invitation by his counterpart, IDF’s Chief of Ground Forces Major General T. Yadaie. 

During their meeting the two sides explored possibilities for further strengthening and enhancing the already excellent cooperation between the two Armies and discussed issues of common interest.

LtGen Lalousis also paid a visit to the Yad Vashem World Holocaust Remembrance Center, where he laid a wreath in memory of the victims. Lastly, he visited privately the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, where he was received by His Beatitude the Patriarch of Jerusalem, Theophilos III.
