Extension of entry restriction to third-country nationals
According to the Ministerial Decision that was issued on the 14th of June and is still valid until further notice and the latest decision of the EU,entrance to Greece without any further prerequisites is possible only for :
- EU and Schengen agreement Citizens
- Holders of Permanent Residence in the EU
- Israeli citizens holding an EU passport
- 3rd country permanent residents of the following countries: Algeria,Australia,Canada,Georgia,Japan,Montenegro,Morocco,New Zealand,Rwanda,South Korea,Thailand,Tunisia and Uruguay .
- Medical Personnel, Medical researchers(must prove their medical capacity at entry points and that they enter Greece under that capacity, in order to work in the medical field)
- Members of official government delegations
- Members of Diplomatic or Consular Missions,International Organizations,Humanitarean Organizations,enter in Greece in order to fulfil their duties
- Transit passengers
- Foreign students provided that they can prove their status with appropriate documents and agree to submit to a medical test
- Caretakers of elderly and medically disable persons provided that they can prove their status with appropriate documents and agree to submit to a medical test
- Seasonal workers in the agriculture sector provided that they can prove their status with appropriate documents and agree to submit to a medical test
- Persons travelling for essential business reasons, provided that they have clearence from the Embassy,which will be granted upon review of relevant documentation
