Hellenic National Defense General Staff Chief, General Konstantinos Floros visits Israel

On June 8-9, the Chief of the Hellenic National Defense Staff (CHOD) General Konstantinos Floros paid an official visit to Israel and met with Deputy Prime Minister & Defense Minister, Mr. B. Gantz, and his counterpart IDF Chief Lieutenant General Aviv Kochavi. Talks focused on further deepening cooperation between the Greek and Israeli Defense Forces, as well as on international and regional security challenges.

The CHOD also visited Israeli Navy and Air force bases, an Iron Dome air defense battery, as well as IDF’s Military Intelligence Directorate.

General Floros also laid a wreath in memory of the Holocaust victims at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum.

Lastly, he visited the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, where he was received by His Beatitude the Patriarch of Jerusalem, Theophilos III.
