Joint Greek delegation consisting of high ranking Police and Coast Guard officers visits Israel
A joint Greek delegation consisting of high ranking Police and Coast Guard officers will be visiting Israel between 9-12 November, upon the invitation of the State of Israel. The visit will take place in the framework of the increased cooperation and regular consultation between the two countries in the field of security of seaports and other major transportation hubs.
During their visit, the Greek representatives will have an opportunity to exchange experiences with Israeli Authorities on all relevant aspects of security challenges in the facilities of seaport and other transportation hubs, while also exploring prospects for further enhancing and expanding their cooperation in the coming years, in view of the increasingly growing tourism flow between the two countries.
The visiting delegation will be briefed by the competent Israeli officials and will also be guided through the facilities of an Israeli Naval Base in order to observe methods and practices and exchange related views and experiences.
Both sides remain committed to further expanding their close working relationship in a spirit of mutual trust and friendship, in order to effectively address common challenges that may arise in their particular areas of interest.
