Official visit of Greek Defense Minister Mr. Nikos Panagiotopoulos to Israel (January 19-21)

Greek Defense Minister Mr. N. Panagiotopoulos paid an official visit to Israel on January 19-21 upon invitation by his Israeli counterpart and Deputy Prime Minister of Israel, Mr. Benjamin Gantz.  During their talks, the two officials affirmed their strategic partnership, based on strong bonds of friendship and a common vision for creating a safe, stable and prosperous environment within Eastern Mediterranean, as well as their will to further enhance the defense cooperation between the two countries.

Minister Panagiotopoulos also visited the Jerusalem Patriarchate, where he was received by his Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III.
