Event for the 25th anniversary of International Society of Friends of Nikos Kazantzakis under Auspices of Embassy of Greece in Japan
Under the auspices of the Embassy of Greece in Japan, Greece-Japan Center will organize in Tokyo an event for the 25-year activity of the International Society of Friends of Nikos Kazantzakis on May 14, 2013, in collaboration with the International Society of Friends of Nikos Kazantzakis and Japan-Greece Society.
Mr. George Stassinakis, President of the abovementioned International Society, will deliver a speech on the work of the famous Greek writer.
The International Society of Friends of Nikos Kazantzakis is an international cultural non-profit organization founded in 1988 in Geneva and still based there, with a view to promoting the work and wisdom of the great writer.
It includes 5.000 members in 119 countries, issues an annual review entitled “Le Regard crétois” (in Greek, English, French, Spanish) and a four-month newsletter entitled “Synthesis” (in Greek, English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Italian, Portuguese and Russian).
