Exhibition “The open mind of Lafcadio Hearn”, Matsue (October 9-10, 2010)

In Matsue in western Japan, an exhibition in honor of Lafcadio Hearn (Koizumi Yakumo) took place on October 9-10, 2010. Art works from all over the world and inspired by the life and work of Lafacadio Hearn were exhibited and a sculpture by famous artist Masaki Noda (The open mind of Lafcadio Hearn) unveiled in the presence of the Ambassadors of Greece H.E. Mr Nikolaos Tsamados  and of Ireland H.E Mr. John Neary, the Governor of Shimane Prefecture Mr. Zembee Mizoguchi and the Mayor of Matsue Mr. Masataka Matsuura.
