Greek Cooking Class by the Ambassador’s Wife Mrs. Yasmine Tsamados for members of the Cross Cultural Women’s Club (CCWC) at the Residence (October 18, 2011)
Mrs. Yasmine Tsamados, wife of the Greek Ambassador, held a cooking class at the Residence on October 18, 2011, where she taught members of the Cross Cultural Women’s Club (CCWC) how to prepare various Greek dishes. Among the delicious foods introduced to the group by Mrs. Tsamados were spinach pie, artichokes with peas, Greek salad, and galaktoboureko (custard cream pie).
The attendants immensely enjoyed the experience, as expressed in the following message of appreciation by Mrs. Michiko Moritomo, President of CCWC:
Dear Yasmine-san
Thank you for your cooking class today. We all enjoyed it very much.
You organized everything perfectly. You taught the class so organized, so we could learn how to cook completely. All the dishes were very delicious (oishikatta!) and tasty. We will try to cook soon. You know many of the members who attended went to Nisshin to buy pie-sheet, feta cheese or others on the way back home. We hope we can cook as well as you did.
We enjoyed the wonderful luncheon, too!
…
Thank you again and take care. Otsukare-sama-deshita.
With warmest regards,
Michiko Moritomo and CCWC members
