Pink Beauty Charity Gala 2012 (Nov. 3, 2012)

The Pink Beauty Charity Gala 2012 was held on November 3, at Tokyo American Club. Organizer, Mrs. Hiroko Suzuki, coordinated the event, a fundraising gala to support breast cancer awareness and prevention. Ambassador Nikolaos Tsamados delivered a speech on breast cancer awareness, mentioning the life-saving detection test developed by prominent Greek doctor, Georgios Papanikolaou. A live auction drew strong bids on luxurious prizes such as a traditional Greek worry beads, or komboloy, offered by Mrs. Yasmine Lawand-Tsamados. The Ambassadors of Bahrain and Czech Republic, the spouse of the Ambassador of Norway, and the Honorary Consul of Scandinavian Countries were among the official guests.
