Visit to Niigata (October 29–30, 2011)

A tour was organized in Niigata Prefecture on October 29th, 2011 by the group of the flower madams formed by wives of Ambassadors in Japan. With colleagues from Thailand, Uruguay, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Pakistan and Norway, Ambassador and Mrs. Nikolaos  Tsamados visited Tokamachi and Tsunan and enjoyed  viewing the rice field terraces, museums and  art works  in the open air during the Echigo Tsumari art tour. They were welcomed by the Vice Governor of Niigata Prefecture Mr. Hiroo Ohno, as well as by the  Mayors of the cities, Mr. Yoshifumi Sekiguchi, Mayor of Tokamachi, and Mr. Kenji Kamimura, Mayor of Tsunan.
