Welcome luncheon for the members of the CCWC (Cross Cultural Women’s Club) hosted by the Ambassador’s Spouse Mrs. Yasmine Tsamados, September 27, 2011
Mrs. Yasmine Tsamados, spouse of the Ambassador, hosted a welcome luncheon for the members of the CCWC (Cross Cultural Women’s Club) on September 27, 2011 at the Residence. About 30 people attended and enjoyed the Greek dishes cooked by Mrs. Tsamados. The highlight of the event was Greek folk dancing performed by professional dancers Mr. Hiroshi Kamakura and Mrs. Sumiko Sakaino, which delighted all the participants, who danced together at the end. Underneath is the Newsletter of the Cross Cultural Women’s Club on the event:

The welcome luncheon was held on September 27th at The Residence of the Greek Ambassador to welcome new members. It was a success and several new friends are introduced to our club. On the day, we welcomed two new members, one from Italy and the other from Serbia. We hope they will enjoy our club and our forthcoming programs. Much excitement was brought as the unexpected Greek dance was performed and we were happily clapping and dancing to the authentic music.
Thank you so much, Yasmine Tsamados, for opening your residence and helping organizing the meeting with such an unexpected pleasant surprise. Gratitude goes to all our members for your kind co-operation.

We would like to express our gratitude to Yasmine Tsamados, for opening her residence for our Welcome luncheon and inviting many friends. Also thank you for those who brought their friends to the luncheon. It was fabulous and a great success!
Many thanks to Yasmine-san, for giving us a surprised Greek Dance! Their costumes were very interesting and we also learned a lot about Greece. Explanation on rhythm was a little difficult, but all of us were much excited at dancing together!
Thank you, everyone, for sharing your special dishes. Thank you also to Yasmine-san for contributing the special Greek dish and a dessert from France originating from her mother’s country.
We enjoyed a lovely afternoon with good food, dancing, meeting new friends and chatting with merry company after a long interval.
