Celebratory Concert for the Year of Culture and Tourism Greece-Japan (25-26/5) of the Sapporo Symphonic Orchestra - Meeting with the Governor of Hokkaido

Greek Ambassador in Japan, Mr. Argyros, visited Sapporo, between May 25 and 27, capital of Hokkaido Island, in order to participate to the premiere of the celebratory concert of the Sapporo Symphonic Orchestra, in the context of the Year of Culture and Tourism Greece-Japan. The concert included works of Japanese composer Takemitsu and Greek composer Xenakis.
Moreover, in Sapporo, Ambassador Argyros had the opportunity to meet with Governor of Hokkaido, Mr. Suzuki, and to be thoroughly informed about the latest developments in the region. Governor Suzuki and Ambassador Argyros also exchange views on topics of mutual interest and potential bilateral cooperation.
