Event on Pontic Hellenism and Culture

On November 2nd, under the auspices of the Embassy, and through the collaboration of the Cultural Association of Pontiac Greeks “I Mithrii”, Japan-Greece Society organized a cultural event at the Otsuma Women’s University of Tokyo, dedicated to the Pontiac Greeks and their rich traditions (culture, dialect, music and danse, etc.). The event was co-financed by the Municipal Authorities (Chiyoda-Ku) and Greek businesses and constituted another step in the efforts of promoting the Pontiac Greeks’ culture in Japan.
