Performance of a theatrical adaptation of Hecuba by Euripides

Between October 3 and 6, at the Isshinji Theater in Osaka, and between October 11 and 14, at the Ueno Store house in Tokyo, the Seiryu Theater performed an adaptation of Euripides’ tragedy Hecuba, under the title Hecuba, Crossing the Sea. The hugely successful shows that depicted the passionate and vengeful Queen of Troy, were put under the auspices of the Embassy and included in this special year’s commemorative cultural events.
