CELEBRATION OF EUROPE DAY
E.U., Jordan and You
The E.U. Delegation in Jordan and the Diplomatic Missions of the member countries will host celebrations on Europe Day.
On Friday May 8th 2015, from 16.00 to 20.00, at the Hashemite Plaza in Town Centre, an event will be hosted for families and children, to introduce to them the E.U. and the sectors of cooperation with Jordan. Greece will host an event for children and young people on the renewable energy sources. Moreover, a group of young students (Eurovox) will present song from various EU countries.
Free entrance.
On Saturday May 9th 2015, at 20.00, at the Hashemite Plaza, an open air concert will be presented to the public, under the title "Balkan Fusion", featuring members of Paprika, who come from Hungary, Serbia, Romania and the UK, and some well known local musicians including vocalist Laila Sabbagh among others.
