CELEBRATION OF EUROPE DAY
E.U., Jordan and You
The E.U. Delegation in Jordan and the Diplomatic Missions of the member countries will host celebrations on Europe Day.
Artistic performances will be presented on Thursday May 12th 2016, from 18.00 to 20.00, at the Al-Matal area at Rainbow Street, while on Friday 13th May 2016, from 16.00 to 19.00, at the Hashemite Plaza in Town Centre, events will be hosted for families and children, to introduce them to the E.U. countries cultures. The Embassy of Greece will have a stall promoting Greece’s natural beauties and tourism. A group of young students (Eurovox) will present songs from various EU countries, including Greece, and the Greek dance group OPA MAZI will perform traditional and popular dances.

On Wednesday May 11th 2016 at 20.00, at the Odeon Theatre, a concert will be presented by the Jordanian musician Jadal, featuring Romanian saxophone player Alexandru Arcus.
