Inauguration of the photographic exhibition entitled “Macedonian Decapolis in Jordan and the Kingdom of Macedonia” at the premises of the University of Jordan

Amman, 15 April 2014 : The Ambassador of Greece in Jordan , Ms.  Maria Louisa Marinakis, inaugurated today along with the President of the University of Jordan, Professor Ekhleif Tarawneh the photographic exhibition entitled “Macedonian Decapolis in Jordan and the Kingdom of Macedonia” at the premises of the University of Jordan, in order to outreach towards the 35.000 students of the University and remind them of the ancient links that unite Greece and Jordan.  The exhibition will run until the 30th of April.

It will be followed by a lecture given by Ambassador Marinakis that will take place on the 13th of May 2014 at the Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II School of International Studies, related to the ongoing Hellenic Presidency of the Council of the European Union as well as to the strategic   relations between Greece and Jordan.
