Scholarship Program - Academic Year 2019-2020
The Embassy of Greece wishes to inform that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece has announced the scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate studies for the upcoming academic year 2019-2020.
Candidates are advised to note the following:
-All application are to be submitted at the Embassy until July 25, 2019.
-Scholarships are not granted to anyone with any kind of affiliation to the Greek Public Sector
- Scholarships are not granted for Religious Studies and Fine Arts
- Applicants must have completed the age of 18 years by October 1st
- Postgraduate applicants must have been already accepted to attend a specific postgraduate department or to complete their thesis.
- Tuition fees for postgraduate studies are not covered by the scholarship
-Candidates for the Dept. of Foreign Languages – Translators and Interpreters must declare two at least languages –among English, French and German- of which they have a good command
- Candidates for the Dept. of Literature, without knowledge of Classical Greek, may find attendance highly demanding
- Holders of Greek Fluency should submit a copy of the Certificate
- Applications must be duly completed and signed, accompanied by plain photocopies of all required documents, translated in Greek. Candidates selected for scholarship must -upon arrival to Greece in October- submit all documents duly certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Jordan then by the Embassy of Greece and translated by the Translating Services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece.
