Trilateral Ministerial Meeting between Greece-Cyprus-Jordan (Nicosia, 19 December 2018)
Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs, G. Katrougalos, will travel to Cyprus on Wednesday, 19 December, in order to jointly participate with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, N. Christodoulidis, and of Jordan, A. Safadi, in the proceedings of the Trilateral Ministerial Meeting between Greece-Cyprus-Jordan, aiming at preparing the 2nd Trilateral Summit (GR-CY-JOR) at the beginning of next year.
In this context, the three Ministers and their delegations will discuss the recent developments in the wider region of the Eastern Mediterranean, while they will focus on the possibilities of enhanced cooperation in fields related to security and stability, mutually beneficial economic growth with an emphasis on energy, investment, telecommunications and tourism, as well as culture and education.
Prior to this, the Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs will have a meeting with Mr. Christodoulidis, while a courtesy call will be paid on the President of the Republic of Cyprus, N. Anastasiadis.
