Visit of the Head of the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad Mr. M. Kokkinos to Jordan

The Head of the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad Mr. Michalis Kokkinos visited Jordan, on 10-12/12/2015, and had meetings with the Greek Diaspora, the representatives of the Orthodox Church, as well as with representatives of Jordanian philhellenic associations.

The visit included a meeting with the relevant Jordanian Authorities, meetings with the Greek Associations in Jordan, with His Beautitude Theofilos III, Patriarch of Jerusalem and all Palestine, with His Eminence the Metropolitan of Philadeplhia, as well as with members of Jordanian associations that were created on the basis of their love towards Greece.   

Mr. Kokkinos visited also the diocese of Madaba, where he met with His Holiness the Archimandrite, as well as the Baptism site at the Jordan river. Finally, he attended a Christmas dinner hosted by the Council of the Middle East Churches, under the auspices and with the presence of His Beautitude Theofilos III, for refugees from Syria and Iraq.
