Working visit of the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Greece (Athens, 10-11/6/2014)
The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan paid his first working visit to Greece since he was assigned as Minister for Foreign Affairs, during which he held a bilateral meeting and talks with the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister E. Venizelos as well as with Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr. D. Kourkoulas. Both sides reiterated the excellent, strategic relations that bind the two countries and gave emphasis to further strengthening the bilateral economic and trade exchanges.
During the visit three bilateral agreements were signed: a) An agreement on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic passports, b) The executive Program for Cultural, Educational and Scientific Cooperation for 2014-2016 and c) a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation on European Union issues.
Following the bilateral meetings, Minister Judeh participated in the third Ministerial Meeting of the European Union and the League of Arab States, which took place at the premises of Zappeion Megaron.
