Foreign Ministry announcement regarding the terrorist attack in the city of Garissa, Kenya

We unequivocally condemn yesterday’s barbaric, deadly terrorist attack by the Al-Shabaab terrorist organization on the university of the city of Garissa, Kenya, which cost the lives of 140 young people of knowledge and education, leaving dozens more wounded.

We express our condolences to the victims’ loved ones and our undivided support for the people and government of Kenya.

Greece will not cease to support, by all possible means, the countries being targeted by the inhuman violence of terrorism, of extremism, of religious intolerance, and of obscurantism.
