Greece donates 180,000 vaccines against COVID-19 to Kenya

On 06/8/2021, the Greek donation of 180,000 vaccines AstraZeneca arrived at Nairobi International Airport ‘Jomo Kenyatta’. The vaccines were welcomed by the Chair of the Kenyan National Taskforce for Vaccine Deployment Dr. Willis Akhwale, the Chargé d’ Affaires of the Greek Embassy Mr. Sotirios Demestichas and the Head of the Delegation of the European Union Ms. Katrin Hagemann. The donation was facilitated via the European Union Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Agency.
