Official Visit of the President of the Hellenic Republic, H.E. Mr. Prokopios Pavlopoulos, in Lebanon.

The President of the Hellenic Republic, H.E. Mr. Prokopios Pavlopoulos visited the Republic of Lebanon, following an invitation by the President of the Republic of Lebanon, H.E. Michel Aoun, on the 11th and 12th April 2019.

During the visit, the President of the Republic met with the President and the Prime Minister of Lebanon.

A wreath laying ceremony followed, after which the President visited the Hellenic Navy Frigate "Nikiforos Fokas", which participates in UNIFIL mission and met with representatives of the Greek Community in Lebanon.

On Friday, the 12th April, the President of the Hellenic Republic visited Our Lady of Balamand Patriarchal Monastery, where he met with His Beatitude the Patriarch of Antioche and All the East, John X, who honoured him with the highest decoration of Apostles Petros and Pavlos.
